Technical Specifications

Performance:

• Costumed Meet & Greet.
• Background entertainment, ideal for guest reception. Various sets arranged over 2 hour period.
• Choreographed themed shows between 5 and 20mins duration.
• Inspiral comprises of 2 female artists combining dance with the use of various props.

Performance Area:

• Choreographed shows require performance area 5m Wide x 4m Deep x Height min 4.5m
• A further 1m free space is requested around this area, for audience safety.
• Inspiral is able modify the performance to accommodate smaller areas if arranged on booking.
• Single entertainer free style performance requires an area 3m x 3m min. Height 4.5m

Sound:

• Music will be provided on Ipod or CD
• Client to provide sound system/PA adequate for the size of venue.
• Competent music operator to be available for technical rehearsal and performance.
• If required PA system available at additional cost.

Lighting:

• Performance enhanced with show area illuminated.
• LED and UV shows are most effective in darkness.
• Fire shows require either semi darkness or low background ambient lighting.

Backdrop:

• Plain backdrop or backdrop applicable to theme of event is most appropriate.
• UV and fire shows work best in front of black backdrop where possible.

Fire Performance:

• Fire shows should be performed in semi darkness.
• Clear access to performance area essential.
• 2m X 2m clear space required backstage for lighting and extinguishing props.
• Outside area required for dipping equipment in fuel and removing excess.
• Stage area must be free of flammable materials or props and drapes.
• Client is responsible for ensuring fire shows are permitted at venue, and if any sprinkler systems or smoke alarms are in operation.
• Performance area may remain slippery for approximately 5mins after show, until fuel residue has evaporated. Guest and other performers need to be made aware of this.
• Client may wish to provide fire proof carpet secured to the floor, ideally this should be sprayed with fire retardant spray, available from most theatrical suppliers.
• Inspiral to provide fire blanket, and extinguishing equipment.

Backstage:

• Secure, warm room required, large enough for changing, make up and warm up.
• Access to running water required.
• Mirror required.
• Light refreshments during event appreciated.

Set Up and Rehearsal:

• Artists require approx 1hr 30mins prior to performance, depending on make up required.
• 15-20mins technical rehearsal required.

Insurance:

• Inspiral have Public Liability Insurance up to £2,000.000
• Inspiral have PL Fire Ins up to £2,000.000
• Artists are CRB checked.
